Spring Clean Up in April, come volunteer!April 30th. Spring Clean Up.

Come join us for our annual spring cleaning. Joined by the Scappoose members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, members of the Scappoose Historical Society spend the day spring cleaning both the inside and outside of the Watts House Museum. Bring a sack lunch (water and soda provided) and your gardening gloves and tools. We'll be planting flowers and bushes, laying bark and cleaning and trimming outside. The clean-up runs from 9 am to 12 pm. Come and have some fun!

May

May 7th & 14th. Spring Tea.

Our annual Spring Tea, actually a three course luncheon (11:30 AM - 2 PM), is now on its 11th year! Held every year at the Watts House Pioneer Museum in Scappoose, this event is often used as a chance for women to get together and have an enjoyable afternoon with friends, but don't let that discourage you fellows--you're always welcome! Extemely popular, many of our attendees return every year as part of their Mother's Day celebrations. Past years have included musical performances, storytellers and fashion shows. Also, as part of the fun, a drawing will be held for a small gift. A tour follows for those who wish to see the Museum. The food is always delicious and the service wonderful, so be sure to make this event a part of your year. (Please see the ticket information listed under April's events.)

The museum will be closed to the general public on the Saturdays of the Spring Tea
